From the isle of Inisheer (Inis Oirr) in County Galway's Aran Islands, this composite image features a view from the hilltop graveyard with a weathered Celtic cross and passing fishing vessel on the Atlantic Ocean. Located in the same graveyard, this stone arch is in the previously buried ruins of the 10th Century Teampall Chaomhan, a church established by St. Chaomhan, brother of St. Kevin, founder of Trinity Church at Glendalough, County Wicklow. Amazing history!
